Here in Pennsylvania its best to cut your Hydrangeas around September 15th, if you want them to dry. Its so hard to wait, but I so enjoy them. They are one of my favorite flowers, fresh and dried. My mother has the most beautiful Paniculata (Pee Gee) Hydrangea Shrub, its is well over 10 or 12 feet tall, and I could not even begin to guess how round it is. I mean it is amazing. Every Year I go down to cut the flowers around September 15th. They never let me down. This year was no difffent.
I moved them around a bit, and they landed on my sideboard.
