Blue Glass has always been a favorite of mine. I have been collecting blue ball jars for years. However this year in particular seemed to be a great time to pick up some blue glass jars and or bottles. I found these smaller two a few months back on clearance at Marshalls for $3 and $4 dollars, and this latest find I stumbled upon at Homegoods. It was one of those items I grabbed and put in my cart before I even checked the price. I mean my name was on it. And surprise it was only $16 SOLD. This glass has the appearance of being as light as air. I just adore the lines of the piece, so feminine. They are sitting center stage on my coffee table, and I don’t plan to move them until I start my Christmas decorating, which believe it or not will be November 1.
In addition to all the new glass you can find out there, ball jars are one of my favorite to collect and in all shapes and sizes, but especially the blue ones . There are endless things you can do with them to decorate but even using them to drink out of is special.
Just a few posts back I used some as Autumn Inspired staircase décor and a lite walkway to the front porch.
There is something about this color blue that simply makes the room feel airy, crisp, fresh, and clean. Try adding a little in to your décor. We are carrying antique ball jars in several sizes at the new shop The Arrows Nest, under the category Found.
