Flea Market Finds

I love, love, love, to roam around the Flea Market every Sunday. My husband and I go almost every week. Sometimes we come home with nothing, and sometimes we find tons. This week I brought home a cast iron tray/griddle who knows for sure. We had passed it by at first, and then when we saw one a few rows over for $35 we doubled back to grab this one for $5.  I simply love the patina and weight of the piece, and anything that represents a tray, is a tray to me. It was in good shape but needed a little love, or reconditioning so I used my Miss Mustard Seed Hemp Oil on it and it came to life. Just poured a little on rubbed it in for a while then rubbed it out.

In addition I found a small mirror that was in pretty rough shape and it was so dirty. But something just seemed so sweet about it, all I did was touch it and the man behind the table said $5, and then I hesitated for a moment, because Lord knows I don’t need another mirror, and he said $4 so I promptly said” Ill take it”. It needed a good scrub, but I love the look, its small enough to lean and I love that the wood is so worn its almost raw. I plan to leave it as is.

Total spent $9, I would say that was a great day at the flea market.

Thanks for Stopping by the Blog
