New Products

Tammys blog 128better

Soooooo……. when ever new products hit the site I get really excited, I mean who doesn’t like something new. Especially at this time of year when we are looking to freshen every thing up, and give it a clean fresh 2016 vibe. And these few pieces, though they be few,…… are mighty. I am talking┬ástop you in your tracks beautiful. Pieces that will really make an impact. A gold gilded terracotta pot, a concrete black urn, metal gold antler, a white piece of pottery that looks like it has navy blue coral all around the rim…..can I just say this piece is too die for, a gold lantern, a tall glass domed pedestal, and 6 inch cotton balls.

Here is how I styled a few.

  1. Love your posts and your shop! I had a few questions I would like to ask you, if you don’t mind. A little background info. – I’m a farmer’s wife, mother of 4, Christ follower, crafter/DIY’er, like to create and decorate/redecorate.

For the past couple of years I’ve been contemplating starting my own business (I work part-time at a greenhouse/decor shop); and just not sure which direction or how I should go about it. I would love to find out how you went about your business. I’m in Lancaster, PA so it’s not like I would be competition – lol! If you do not care to share or have the time, I totally understand.

You truly are an inspiration and I so enjoy following you and your daughter as well.

    • Well Shelly, I write this blog which pays nothing, I love posting on Instagram which pays nothing, I have been decorating my home almost daily, you know just moving things here and there and painting every thing in site for my entire life. My daughter actually convinced to me to share it. I knew my friends and family thought I did a good job, but they also thought I was a little crazy because I change things up all the time, so I never would have thought I had anything to offer, my daughter thought different. So I thought, well I have nothing to lose since I am already doing my thing, its not like I had to change anything, except to share it. My daughter who already runs a business for Christian women, she writes, designs, and sells devotionals and companion products talked to me about the possibility of an on-line shop after she saw how many people were interested in the products I was using in my home. Her and her husband are the owners of the shop and the financial backers, I simply style the items and post about them. I believe, especially in your area, retail would probably be best. If you don’t already have an account on Instagram get one and start posting to build a following, see if you have some interest and go from there. Hope this helps.

  2. Hi again Tammy! Just wanted to check and see if you got my “comment” from the other day.

    Hope you’re feeling much better!

    • Thank you so much Shelly, yes the medicine is finally working. I really think what ever the germ the people around me get I get 10 times worse. Lucky me.
