Just stopping in quick to share an easy Summer table scape, using what you have. Believe it not, since its just me and my husband anymore, we eat out or in the family most nights. So my table just kind of sits there. Plus since its kind of messed up from 20 plus coats of paint which were all a big fail, I keep it covered with a tablecloth. That said every once in awhile I like to decorate the table. I grabbed a few things I already had and with the addition of this sweet metal 3-tied stand from Homegoods, I set a pretty Summer table. Here with a metal charger as my base, I then added layers of plates from Pottery Barn and Homegoods, and topped with a starfish, makes the prettiest place setting. I almost used some wicker chargers which were also lovely, but I loved the soft look of the metal ones.
I packed this 3-tiered stand with napkins and shells, but it would be so pretty packed out with treats.
The linens are all from Homegoods, purchased at different times.
This mercury glass Sea Urchin is from last year at the end of summer.
I added some live plants to an antique Ironstone planter.
Then simply scattered some shells on the table top for some interest.
Thanks for Stopping by the Blog
