For me decorating for Spring/Easter is second only to decorating for Christmas. I absolutely love getting a few things for spring in the mix, and who doesn’t love a little bunny. I even have a few bunnies, I leave out all year long.
I try to put my money into pieces, that will stay in style for years to come.
I adore filling 3-tiered trays, covered trays, or even a simple wicker tray, with all things spring. Fill them to the brim to make a big impact.
Try looking for dishes, I find these are a really easy way to add those little touches. Simple stacks of special little plates, or cups and saucers, make a sweet display and come in useful at meal time. I have a cute bunny teapot, and tray, in green, so it always matches my color scheme. Fill those clear glass jars with colorful candies, in pastels, for a pop of color; or robins eggs and nests for a more permanent display.
Who remembers the 3-tiered stands of the past, a wrought iron stand that you added your own plates, bowls, or even pies to. I have used this one with three bunny plates for many years.
I could not resist this pair of ducks, a few years back at a QVC outlet store. Alone or together, they are special couple.
Try to choose a few different kinds of things, and stick with just a few colors. Here I have chosen to use dishes, potted flowers, and a few critters. Move them all around until you find what gives you the most WOW!!! Then wait for Spring to come.
