For the month of March I feel like I have been painting everything in sight. I made a list of all of the things I wanted to paint, and it scared me. So needless to say, painting has not made the favorites list.
My number 1. My new chandelier from Magnolia Market is defiantly a winner. It is an amazing light fixture, and made quite a difference in the look of the room, from my out dated, brass one. Sadly it did end up being to small, in scale, for the size of my dining room, and will be moving to the kitchen soon. I now know how to figure out what size chandelier you need for your room. Still at the top of my favorites list.
My number 2. favorite this month, another purchase from Magnolia Market. My daughter gave me a gift card to this shop, and since I am addicted to lighting, I purchased this lovely lamp. It is the perfect addition to this sweet table. I love that it had a wood base, metal leaves that make up the wreath, and I adore the rectangle shade.
My number 3. We made a trip to Pottery Barn, early this month to pick up a few things, among the finds that day, three gorgeous lanterns. How can I use them, let me count the ways!!!
My number 4. favorite must be these six Whimsical Farmhouse Appetizer Plates, from Painted Fox Treasures, what a lovely presentation they make, mixed with my black square plates from Longaberger Pottery. I keep most of my decorations pretty traditional, so I love to add a little whimsy when ever I can.
My Number 5–I adore this silver compote, I found at a local antique shop for $8.00, how lovely is this, tarnish and all.
