Hello, my people.
This post is sponsored by LoveFeastShop. However, the opinions here are my own. I only partner with a brand if it is something I truly love and believe in.
I am not one to decorate for Holidays. I know what your thinking, what about Christmas. Well, the thing is, I see Christmas as a season. I see Christmas as starting in mid November, and it doesn’t end until New Years Eve. I love to decorate for the seasons. Right after Christmas, I slip into clean the entire house brain, organize, and donate, throw some into the trash, use the shredder, clear out expired food and medicine. You know the drill, I want to do all the things. Winter is my Jam, What I mean by that is cozy is my jam. I love to nest for January and February, snuggling is fun. I don’t love the snow, but I enjoy the colder months. I love keeping things cozy with lots of throws and candlelight. Then as February comes around I do add in a few sweet red or pink things. I think this is about the time in the year when I start to crave some bits of color again. You could add some color with, a simple Crimson or in my case Pink Velvet Pillow, or Pink Vase, you don’t need to go crazy, but of course you can. You could keep things all white, and simply add a few rolled of pieces of sheet music under a cloche, which I plan to do, and be done. You could also use a roll of music as a small touch to a place setting on your table. Or you could add some red or pink roses to a white vase.
This year, I received the most beautiful Velvet Hearts from LoveFeastShop. You know who they are, they are famous for there Velvet Pumpkins, Acorns, and Pomegranates, made by Hot Skwash. Well these Hearts are amazing, and on top of each one, sits the sweetest Gold Crown. They also carry the sweetest Pink Pumpkins, some with feathers, which are a dream. I love there things, they are so beautiful and whimsical, and yet elegant, all at the same time. It really just depends what you mix them with, but you cannot go wrong. I tucked them all into a Vintage Ironstone Soup Terrine, and I am smitten. They are the perfect addition to any home, no matter your style. Here is a little peek into the Dining Room for February. Which also happens to be my my Birthday Month. You have heard of a Birthday Month, right? Let me know, what do you do for Valentines Day, and do you decorate for Holidays or for the Seasons?
