Hello my people. I have collaborated with the most amazing artist, #sponsered and I can not wait to share the pieces I received, with you. They are from The Art Bar by Lindsay Letters, trust me this is where it is at, when it comes to Art. Her pieces are amazing, I am doing a little happy dance over here. I fell in love with her style a few years back, and have watched from afar. It was no easy task to pick something, I loved so much, but when these pieces arrived, my jaw dropped, they are even more stunning in person. To top it off she is so kind, that she is offering 15% off at checkout, if you use the code: THECULTIVATEDHOME She has canvases, framed or unframed, prints, and more. Be sure to stop over and see if she has something for your Spring home.
Allow me to share.
Here I am, finally talking about the weather changing. This was actually the first time I can ever remember that I didn’t mind Winter, I actually enjoyed it, and was in no hurry for it to leave. That said, the sun is shining a bit brighter these days, though its still cold, and it defiantly lifts my spirits to see that. I find myself looking forward to each new sunshiny day. If you are a neutral color lover, do you start to crave a bit of color when the seasons change? I am usually totally neutral after Christmas, I think my eye simply needs a break. However, as Spring approaches I do start to want a bit of color again, but in a subtle dose. I have found over the years, that I am not of fan of to many contrasting colors, harmonious colors and or soft tones of color are more my style. It is not just about how pretty I think something is, it needs to function for our home, and it absolutely must feel good. For me, now is the time to start layering some color into my spaces. When I do add color, I have been loving watery shades of blue and soft blush pink for a few years, all in muted tones, or with gray undertones. I love the serene and gentle sense these colors add to my spaces, and these two piece are spot on. Have you ever ordered from The Art Bar By Lindsay Letters, wow, you need to take a peek over there? I received two beautiful pieces for my Living Room, you know I love Modern Art, and I picked up a sweet print, that I framed myself for my kitchen.
First up, meet Blush Bungalow, talk about a soft and gentle pink, this is unbelievable. It draws you in, its soft and yet there are some deeper, darker, moody tones as well. I love how this piece feels, who knew something could be pink and moody. It is a winner. This piece would be amazing in a bedroom, office or even a Nursery. I love how it looks with this large vase of flowers.
Next up, this fabulous piece on my staircase, WOWZERS. What a way to make an entrance. Meet “Island Storm” This is exactly what you are looking at when you walk in my front door. I wanted something pretty enough and large enough to say, “hello, sweet friends” and I believe I found the perfect piece. Its dreamy, magical quality, draws your eye right to it. Its a happy piece, but still has that moody quality, which I am so drawn to. I do believe there is something really special about Lindsay pieces, they feel a certain way, and that is what I love about her work. Art for me is an experience, it evokes ideas, moods, and feelings, and can take you far off to a place somewhere.
Lastly a little peek into my kitchen. I love coffee. And this print sums up exactly how I feel in the morning until I have had my coffee.
My home is in no way perfect. In fact its perfectly imperfect. You can certainly make any space you have look and feel fabulous, and you should. If it is only a room, or apartment, RV, loft …….no matter what kind of space it is, if it is your space, make it your home, make it yours. Fill it with what you love, what speaks to you, and makes you feel good, and evokes happiness within.
