Just popping in quickly to share an easy way to be Mothers Day ready, even if you are starting right now, today. No worries, I have got you covered. Using what you already have is a necessary evil sometimes. Lets face it, the budget doesn’t always supply the funds to spend on little things, that will get tossed into the trash a few hours later. Or maybe you are simply the type that isn’t interested, doesn’t have the time, and or really doesn’t care about all the fluff. NO worries really, you can gather a few pretties from around the house, things you already have, and use them all in a fresh and modern way. Here is a very simple Table Scape I pulled together in an afternoon.
I had all these short stems florals that I had used on my staircase and Mantle for the Christmas Holidays, and I have quite a few blue and blue and white Vintage Vessels, so I pulled them all out. I use two blush pink throws to drape the table, added the florals to the Vintage vases for a lovely centerpiece, and set the table with some pretty dishes. What ever you have and love will do the trick. You could useBall Jars, or mix matched clear glass vases, jars or bottles, anything you have. The goal is your table scape should represent your style. Use what you have and love. It was fun, I do love playing with dishes, I think it’s one of those things we practiced as little girls that follows us into adulthood, you simply need to let your creativity run wild a little. Go pick some dandelions if you need too, you know that would have been the centerpiece, way back then.
Have fun with it, no rules.
