” Serena & Lily-partner in design” I have partnered with Serena & Lily to talk about a few items I already own and love, a few I am ordering now-during the SALE, and a few I plan to order going forward. The opinions here are 100% my own. During this sale is a very good time to shop for something new for yourself or for a gift. This is the start of their Thank You Event, and whenever there is a SALE, I am on board. The sale runs from November 26th-December 3rd, and almost everything is 25% off! Simply use the code: THANKFUL
Over at Serena & Lily, they believe living well begins at home. How do you decorate, what do you add to your spaces to make them your own, to make them special. You could add one special stand alone piece to a room, and have everything else be simple and fade into the background, this is a beautiful calming, serene look and feel, and one where you might simply relax and just feel like home. Or maybe you love layering, I know I do, and you can do it in several different ways. Textures are probably one of my favoirtes, and layering lots of different textures in the same or similar color, is what I prefer. I prefer whites and creams, maybe even soft brown and grey, but very washed out and almost white. I love layers and layers of texture, and my favorite way to do it is in, all neutral or natural colors, and/or earthy tones. After you have decided on colors, its time to put the room together. I love going on the hunt for a few things that will add texture, be functional, and stick to the color pallet I have established. By sticking to the same color pallet, it allows you to shuffle things around, if you get a new idea down the road. I am prone to shuffling carpets, side tables, and of course decor. This is one of my favorite things about the Serena & Lily brand, everything goes together, and can be used in many different ways. They are know for their fresh, casual, vibe, which is my favorite. I love lived in spaces, with a few luxurious pieces.
Lets talk about a few items I have and enjoy here in my Bedroom and adjoining Dressing Room. Below this Hide Lumbar Pillow is a favorite of mine. This pillow is dreamy, and adds the perfect wintery touch to the bed. You could use this or another pillow on your hearth, or use this smaller type to support your back while sitting on your Dining Room chair. Layer this pillow with several others on your sofa, for all the yummy goodness, and cozy vibes.
This large basket is my hamper, and I could literally fit inside of it. However, it does come in several different sizes, this one is the largest. There are also several other options and colors available. But if you don’t need a hamper, use a large lidded basket, to store piles of throws and pillows, so they don’t land on the floor when they are not in use. You could store shoes inside your door, or hats, scarves and gloves would be great inside. About a million uses and the best thing is that the basket has a lid, so it won’t look messy.
One of the most versatile pieces I have, is this sweet Dip Dye Stool. Here I have a little Christmas Tree tucked in the corner, and I adore it. But my favorite place for this stool, is at the top of our basement steps. It is a nice piece to add to a little nook or tiny spot in a hallway where nothing else will fit, but you want to dress it up a bit and make it cute. You could pop a potted plant on top, I have done that several times.
Here is a little peek into a few pieces I am considering during the SALE, and a few I may buy pick up after the holidays. I am always planning.
I hope will stop back to see what I get, and how I use it in my home.
Thanks for Stopping by the Blog
