Lets chat about the decorating process, it can take some time to get your spaces the way you want them. I am never really done, I am always tweaking and shuffling, and making subtle changes that eventually people notice. But this time it was an intentional decision to infuse a little magic, into my bedroom. We remodeled this bedroom a little over a year ago, and I have loved and enjoyed it so much. Right from the start I have felt it was a sanctuary with its totally neutral color pallet, but……I kept racking my brain as to what else it needed.
I finally honed in on the fact that I loved a Periwinkle pillow that I use on my “made bed.” Additionally my Velvet Curtains were trimmed in the same Periwinkle color.
I remembered a few Vintage pieces of decor I had collected one Summer at the beach, a small Powder Blue planter, blue glass bottle and a pitcher. I added those special pieces, to the space and realized I was on to something. I immediately knew I was in love.
But……something was still missing. And then the opportunity to work with Revival Rugs came and a lightbulb went off in my head. The rug came folded in a box with a handle, which made it easy to carry into the space. It was packaged so well it could be given as a gift. The rug has changed the space, and elevated it to the next level, while giving the space that collected over time look and feel I long for so much. this rug is now living her best life. Soft underfoot, and beaming with magnificent color, flaws and all I absolutely love this addition and look forward to enjoying for many years to come.
